I’m Bryan Heredia 👋. Over the last 15 years, I’ve helped grow design teams, define design systems, and take products from concept to successful launch on a global scale. Most recently, I helped shape the future of flagship artificial intelligence and collaboration experiences at Microsoft, leading design on both the Loop and Copilot AI app launches.

Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to work with some of the most talented people and successful companies in the world — leading design teams across organizations and disciplines. I enjoy making big ideas real for millions of users and believe that design is about making life better for everyone.

You can reach out to see more detailed case studies or discuss a new project. Let’s build something meaningful together.

Recent Projects

Copilot Pages

I was asked to lead new artificial intelligence feature experiences for the Microsoft’s Copilot AI application. My team’s focus was to partner and collaborate across Microsoft organization teams and leadership to bring a Copilot Pages experience to market.

Copilot Pages brings the power of the live Loop creation canvas experience to Copilot Chat and Notebooks. We brought new AI filetypes called artifacts into the M365 suite offering, and set the foundation for seamless content creation between AI chat and canvas.

Microsoft Loop

Loop is an app where you can think, plan and create together. We launched a brand new collaboration app to the Microsoft M365 suite, joining apps like Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and more.

I led the “Brand, Comms, and Expressions” design teams and partnerships — launching Loop debut communication, notifications, expressions and AI features, as well as internal/external brand and messaging.

Previous Experience

M365 Photo and Video Experiences

Microsoft

At Microsoft, I led the initial redesigns and new features for the Windows photo/image viewer and the native Windows Photos app experience. I also created the initial pitch and creation of OneDrive Photo Memories experiences across all device platforms, as well as OneDrive home redesign, and updated to Android album experiences.

Optimal Efficency

Product Design Lead

Optimal Efficiency was a product start-up focusing on project management offerings for the Oil, Gas and Mining Industries. I joined Optimal as their design lead, with the goal of growing a team of designers as the product and company scaled.

ImageX

Creative Director

ImageX is a Vancouver-based digital agency focusing on  SaaS applications and large-scale web projects. As their Creative Director, I led a design team spread across the world to launch several products and website projects from start to finish. A notable project was creating a multi-app suite for the entire state of Texas’s K-12 teachers, parents and their education agency.

Tagga Marketing Platform App & Agency

Director, Creative and Campaign Services

As the Director of Creative and Campaign Services, I led a talented multi-disciplinary team on both sides of the company — delivering a full-service agency experience and a go-to-market marketing platform. Tagga was successfully acquired by Campaign Monitor. My role scaled with the company as we grew.

EnvisionIt Agency

Interactive Production Designer

EnvisionIt is a full service Chicago-based agency for print, web, SaaS apps, broadcast commercials and video. At EnvisionIt, I was responsible for all aspects of our design projects from front-end development, design, editing and art direction of TV commercials and motion graphics for all platforms.

Red Frog Events

Web & Graphic Designer

During the time Red Frog was considered one of the fastest growing start-ups at the time, I was one of their first design hires and saw the company grow from a small single-room office to occupying an entire building in downtown Chicago. My role involved front-end development, design for all media, video editing, motion graphics and branding across all of their events.
