I design meaningful product experiences and build successful teams.

Most recently, I led design teams for Microsoft’s Copilot AI Pages and Loop, building the future of collaborative AI product experiences on a global scale. I’m grateful to have helped shape design systems and innovative product experiences from 0-to-1 across startups, agencies, and large-scale software companies.

If you want to discuss a new opportunity or see more detailed case studies, you can email me or book a time to chat.

Microsoft Copilot Pages

Designing the first Copilot AI chat, artifact, and canvas experiences for Microsoft.

We successfully launched a suite of new artificial intelligence experiences for Microsoft’s Copilot app launch, building novel design patterns and capabilities for customers across the company’s M365 app ecosystem.

As the Principal Product Design Manager, I was responsible for leading the end-to-end design vision, partnerships, and collaboration across Microsoft organization teams and executive leadership. Together, we successfully shipped (2024/2025) new AI creation capabilities, artifacts, steering, and human-in-the-loop workflows for the Copilot chat model.

We had to iterate quickly to find solutions that worked, in a high-stakes space where LLM models were rapidly evolving.

Our cross-organization team’s AI features and visual storytelling were highlighted in Microsoft CEO’s keynote speech for Ignite 2024 (13:35) and Build 2025 conferences.

Interactive AI artifacts in Copilot chat: Pages, Graphs and Charts, Math, Tables, Code, and more. Crafting UX patterns for auto-generated, interactive, and editable content.

On-canvas Copilot controls and suggestions:Intuitive, contextual suggestions in a simplified menu integrated into our canvas experience.

Two-way communication UX model:UX model design for the experience between chat and canvas surfaces, human-in-the-loop workflows, and transparency of activity.

Product storytelling - internal and public:Crafted full feature prototypes, storyboarding, and motion videos to visualize and share our product story for the Ignite 2024 Microsoft product announcements.

Microsoft Loop

Launching a collaborative AI notebook and canvas app with a modern design system.

In 2023 we launched a brand new app to the M365 Office subscription, joining the ranks of Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Our goal was to create a consumer-grade collaboration app where teams can create, connect, and share with each other.

As Principal Design Manager for Loop, I led design strategy and execution across five product pillars: brand and design system, communication, notifications, expressions, and AI canvas.

Loop's real-time collaborative Pages integrate across Microsoft's ecosystem, so I established and grew cross-organizational design partnerships with Teams, Outlook, Whiteboard, and GitHub to create consistent canvas creation and viewing experiences.

This integration work reduced friction for enterprise users by embedding Loop directly into their existing workflows, helping drive adoption from private preview through public launch.

Brand and Design SystemApp design system guidelines and governance, component libraries, design tokens, accessibility guidelines, close partnership with marketing and feature teams to create design storytelling for the public.

Expressions & CommunicationComments, reactions, boosts (animated messages), emoji and photo pickers, and personalization.

AI CanvasPage summaries, recaps, workspace/notebook-level summaries, contextual canvas AI menu and shortcuts.

Notification SystemApp inbox, partner app notifications, emails, change management, and attribution.

Other App FeaturesImage galleries, 1-up image viewer (lightbox), multi-column layout customization, and other core canvas features for content creation, editing, customization.

We wanted to do something fresh and different with Loop by designing a brand and design system that highlights the best parts of the app experience - Collaboration, Connection, and Expression.

To achieve this, we focused our efforts in key areas, such as: animations, micro-interactions, gradient usage, and features that encouraged connection with others.

Microsoft Video Experiences

Connection and communication in the workplace, reimagined through video.

Co-founded and scaled a cross-organization team to launch video creation and communication features across Microsoft.

I was responsible for leading design strategy from a “hack week” concept through scaling to a 60+ person cross-functional organization. Our work created two key contributions: a platform design system establishing reusable patterns and components for video experiences across M365, and new video messaging features including universal video thumbnails, Teams video messaging, Viva Stories, profile videos, and PowerPoint video integration. This platform foundation continues to support product teams building video experiences today.

Microsoft Photos

Celebrating your best moments across OneDrive and Windows.

Led redesigns of Windows Photos and image viewer apps, and launched the 0-to-1 vision for OneDrive's photo memory ecosystem across all platforms.

I led the multi-year vision for the Photos ecosystem, redesigning experiences across OneDrive platforms and Windows native apps. Working closely with design and engineering partners, we established design principles and frameworks that shaped how 500M+ users interact with images daily.

One of the most exciting outcomes was building OneDrive's photo memories ecosystem from the ground up. Our work drove significant increases in daily engagement, helping people discover and relive moments that matter to them.

ImageX

Designing web and app experiences for education and non-profits.

As the Creative Director at ImageX, I led the company’s design and creative strategy teams. We successfully crafted large-scale web and product design experiences through close collaboration with our customers.

Highlighted clients include: YMCA, Texas Education Agency, The Fraser Institute, and universities around the world.

Tagga

Designing a marketing intelligence app and launching campaigns around the world.

As the Director of Design and Campaign services I led Tagga’s multi-disciplinary SaaS product and campaign teams for clients included adidas, Red Bull, Paramount Pictures, NBA, MLS, and more.

I joined Tagga as a UI/UX lead and front-end developer, and was promoted twice over four years to Director of Design and Campaign Services, leading a multidisciplinary team through the company's acquisition by Campaign Monitor.

My team designed the core Tagga platform, a marketing intelligence tool that helped brands understand their audience engagement, while simultaneously creating campaigns for top global brands. We implemented a scalable design system that increased our team's execution speed by 5x, allowing us to move quickly without sacrificing craft.

The work was incredibly varied. One week we'd be refining the platform's analytics interface, the next we'd be launching a campaign for Red Bull's Crashed Ice events in 4 countries.

That diversity kept the team energized and taught us how to do big things with a small team.
